History of Royal Palms Estate
Royal Palms Estate stands today as one of Mumbai’s premier residential and lifestyle destinations, but its origins trace back to a vast expanse of agricultural land rich in history and governed by thoughtful stewardship.
Prior to June 1990, the land that now forms Royal Palms Estate was under the ownership of the A. H. Wadia Charity Trust. The Trust was fully and rightfully entitled to approximately 240 acres (around 975,272.50 sq. meters) of agricultural land situated at Village Marol Maroshi, Taluka Andheri, within the jurisdiction of Mumbai City and Suburban Districts. The land, identified by Survey No. 169 (part) and City Survey No. 1627 (part), was known for its open expanses and rural character, marking a stark contrast to the urban sprawl that surrounds it today.
